Turkey is preparing a major defense industry meeting IDEF

15th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF’21), the Republic of Turkey in the presidency under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense, hosted by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation Forces management and accountability, TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Inc. organizer at 25-28 in May 2021 TUYAP Fair and Congress To be held at the Center.

The fair, which hosted 1061 participating companies from 53 countries, 76 thousand 10 professional visitors from 96 countries and press members from 26 countries in 2019, is preparing to bring the sector together this year. At IDEF, where national and international trade agreements are made with signing ceremonies held every year, important collaborations will be signed in 2021. This year, IDEF’21 is aimed to be the “trade base of the defense industry” by holding more than 100 signing ceremonies, meetings and promotions at IDEF’19.

IDEF hosted 151 delegations and 588 delegation members from 70 countries and 3 international organizations in 2019. International delegation invitations for IDEF’21 were made by the relevant official authorities on the basis of reciprocity. For IDEF’21, 341 delegations and 352 delegation members from 148 countries have been invited to the fair by the relevant local authorities.

Fair, including USA, Afghanistan, Germany, Albania, Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Algeria, China, Ecuador, Indonesia, Philippines, France, South Africa, India, Netherlands, Iraq, England Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Canada, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Colombia, South Korea, Kuwait, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Libya, Hungary, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Peru, Russia, Senegal Delegations from countries including Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, Oman, Vietnam and Greece are expected to visit.

Delegation invitations continue to be determined and sent on the basis of reciprocity.

All measures are taken for an efficient and safe fair

IDEF’21 will give its participants the opportunity to meet with local and foreign sector professionals, Turkish procurement authorities and foreign delegations for 4 days, as in every fair. The contacts to be established between Turkish official authorities and local and foreign company representatives and delegations will also contribute to regional and global peace.

At the fair, which attracts great attention of exhibitors and visitors every time it is organized, all necessary measures are taken for an efficient and safe fair experience this year. Within the scope of combating the new type of coronavirus epidemic, all necessary measures to protect public health will be meticulously implemented in the fair area.
