TÜBİTAK experimented with Nasreddin Hodja’s grandchildren

Turkey Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) covered 8 to 14 March Science and Technology Week activities, “Science at school, everywhere science,” the fourth of organized technology TIR event with the motto was held in Eskişehir on the district.

TÜBİTAK Science and Society Vice President Bekir Çengelci and Bursa Science Center instructors held science shows and workshops with students at Nasreddin Hoca Primary and Secondary School in the rural neighborhood where Nasreddin Hodja was born and named after him.

Çengelci, said in a statement to reporters, he said that science and technology is the first institution TUBITAK in Turkey when it is said.

Stating that they organize events in many parts of the country about the week, Çengelci said:

“Science camps, science centers in our activities, we are having conversations like this excitement with our people and our children in many activities. Students who were divided into groups in the activity where interactive scientific demonstrations consisting of instant reaction experiments were held, participated in “Constellation Cube”, “Launch your rocket”, “Night hunter owl” and “Skeleton system” workshops.
