The Ministry of Industry and Technology has launched a support program for the development of domestic and national solutions in “enterprise resource management (ERP)” systems, which is one of the important tools in digital transformation.

According to the information obtained by the AA correspondent, the Ministry of Industry and Technology took action to meet a strategic need in “corporate resource management (ERP)” systems, which enable businesses to carry out all their processes from procurement to accounting, from production to human resources effectively and efficiently.

The ERP Systems Support Program was launched in order to eliminate the dependence of large enterprises, especially in important fields such as the defense industry, on foreign products.

With the program, the Ministry aims to develop a product that can compete with known systems in ERP systems, whose strategic importance has increased in recent years due to reasons such as the security of critical data.

At the same time, the Ministry plans to make the product to be developed available to all companies as open source.

Thus, it is aimed both to meet a strategic need in large critical enterprises and to accelerate the digital transformation of enterprises with the widespread use of ERP.

Grant support and R&D incentives will be given

?????????In the support program, in which the pre-competitive cooperation approach is adopted, at least two developer companies and a user company are required to carry out a project together.

On the other hand, it is obligatory to share the codes of the product developed at the end of the project in open source. In this way, the entire technology ecosystem, as well as the companies developing the project, will be able to use this product and provide services.

In the program, the support to be provided by the Ministry was determined in accordance with the importance of the subject. Grant support of up to 25 million TL per project can be given. In addition, R&D tax incentives can be applied for the expenditures to be made in the projects.

In this context, applications can be made until September 30 for the support program. Application and detailed information can be found at “”.
