Scientific name of the species “Centaurea Hekimhanensis Şirin & Yıldırım” was announced as “Hekimhan Gökbaşı” in Turkish.
After detailed field and laboratory studies, the discovery was published in the scientific journal “Botanica Serbica” and introduced to the world of science.
