Nearly $100 million worth of tickets for space flights


Jeff Bezos, the founder of US e-commerce giant Amazon, thanked Amazon employees and customers for providing the financing of space flight at the press conference held after space travel.

Stating that his expectations were high and significantly exceeded, Bezos stated that it was a very enjoyable experience.

Emphasizing that the demand for Blue Origin’s future space flights is very high, Bezos stated that the company has sold approximately $100 million worth of tickets for its future flights.

Bezos, who did not provide information about the price of the tickets, noted that Blue Origin plans to organize 2 more passenger flights to space this year.

US billionaire Bezos and his 3 accompanying people had a successful space travel with the New Shepard vehicle developed by Blue Origin.

Bezos was accompanied on the flight by his brother Mark Bezos, as well as 82-year-old American female aviator Wally Funk and 18-year-old Olivier Deamon, son of the CEO of Somerset Capitals Partner, a physics student.
