According to Mercedes-Benz; “A temporary collapse of the power supply of the communication module due to a collision could cause the vehicle position to be inaccurate during a potential emergency call. However, other functions of the automatic and manual emergency call function remain fully operational”.

Last year, Mercedes-Benz had to investigate the failure of its automatic vehicles in Europe in the eCall system. At that time, the investigation revealed that there were multiple cases in his system reporting an incorrect location for the car.

Mercedes-Benz is doing very well and its products are available in different parts of the world. As of now, there is no information on the details of the recall. However, we hope to learn more about the recall in the coming weeks.

Mercedes-Benz, Smart phone Collaborates with its Manufacturers

While we know Mercedes-Benz as a “car company”, it also cooperates with smartphone companies. Last year Xiaomi and Mercedes-Benz are known to have started working together on SUV models for the Xiaomi mi 10 Ultra’s unique visual experience.

Xiaomi mi 10 Ultra is a high-end device that Xiaomi designed for its 10th anniversary. At the same time, this device is the ultimate in Xiaomi’s smartphone imaging capabilities. It is also worth noting that Lei Jun (CEO of Xiaomi) also owns a Mercedes-Benz.
