High-velocity solar storm could hit Earth today

The storm, followed closely by weather experts, is heading towards the world and is expected to wear out parts of the planet, Hindustan Times reported.

According to Spaceweather’s website data, the solar storm is approaching Earth at a speed of 1.6 million kilometers.

The storm, whose source is reported to be the Sun’s atmosphere, could have a significant impact on Earth’s magnetic field.

Due to solar storms, Earth’s outer atmosphere may warm up and its satellites may be directly affected.

Due to the warming of the satellites due to the storm in question, interference may occur in GPS, mobile phone and satellite TV signals.
