Domestic mini rocket for unmanned air and land vehicles


According to the information received by the AA reporter, Troy Teknoloji Savunma has been designed to provide services in the fields of military-grade high explosive explosives, warheads that can provide high efficiency with these explosives, mini rockets, armament of drones and unmanned ground vehicles, development and design of high-tech defense systems within the scope of R&D studies. It was established in Ankara in 2004.

The company has developed 40 millimeter mini rockets for mini and micro UAVs.

The mini rocket, which is within the load limits that rotary or fixed wing, low altitude, mini or micro UAVs can carry, has a suitable infrastructure for multi-purpose use. It is considered that the system, which is produced domestically and can be developed according to need, will be useful in internal security and cross-border operations and residential area operations.

Up to 6 rockets can be integrated into the mini UAV

The mini rocket, 170 millimeters long, is launched from the 550 millimeter shooter tube. The weight of the rocket corresponds to 500 grams with a disposable shooter tube. Up to 6 rockets can be integrated into a mini UAV.

The mini rocket reaches a maximum range of 2 kilometers and operates with an effective range of 100-500 meters. The antipersonnel warhead with a smart plug that can learn is effective within a radius of 12 meters. The armor-piercing warhead penetration capability corresponds to the STANAG 4569 Level 2 level.

The main purpose of the system is to determine threat elements from a certain distance in a controlled manner or to neutralize previously determined targets without sending personnel to the danger zone.

This system provides advantages due to the fact that it is domestic and national, low cost, can be developed according to need, easy to use, light and can be carried by the personnel in multiple units.

It is aimed to hit and destroy fixed targets such as unarmored and light armored vehicles, buildings and small structures by mounting the mini rocket to small UAVs and unmanned ground vehicles (IKA). The system can also be applied for land vehicles.
