Doctorate Science Awards at TEKNOFEST, the festival of records

The aim of the award, created by the Turkish Academy of Sciences, is to encourage and support doctoral dissertations written in the priority areas of TEKNOFEST. In 2018, 2019 and 2020, TÜBA Members, YÖK, TÜBİTAK, TÜSEB and University Rectorate can nominate candidates for the award program in which doctoral theses produced in Turkey on TEKNOFEST’s thematic areas are accepted, while candidates can also make their own applications via .


Prepared in TEKNOFEST’s focus areas in award applications;

• Technology and Design (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Autonomous Systems, Robotic and Mechatronic Systems, Modeling and Simulation Technologies, Energy, Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technologies, Technologies for Air, Space and Unmanned Underwater Systems)

Information and Communication Technologies (including Cyber ​​Security and Cryptology)

• In the fields of Education, Health, Agriculture, Ecology Technologies and Biotechnology as well as;

• Doctoral theses written in the fields of Social Sciences, which include International Relations, Development Policies, Educational Approaches, Security Policies, and produced by our country, in accordance with the vision of our country’s National Technology Initiative, are being evaluated.

Candidates will be able to submit their applications by 28 May at the latest. The award ceremony will be presented at TEKNOFEST between September 21-26, where 30,000 Turkish liras will be presented to the first, 25,000 to the second and 20,000 to the third.

TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, which aims to raise awareness of technology and science in the whole society and to increase the human resources trained in science and engineering fields from the day it started, Turkey Technology Team Foundation and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology. It is organized with 71 stakeholder institutions including technology companies, public institutions, media organizations and universities.
