Countdown to the big meeting in defense IDEF’21

According to the statement made by the TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions AŞ, Turkey’s presidential patronage, the host Ministry of National Defense, the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation management and responsibilities of the Force, TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Inc. by organized IDEF’21, 15th International Defense Industry Fair Will be held on 25-28 May at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul.

Turkey and one of the leading companies of the world’s major defense industry meeting platform ıdef’21’ to, domestic and foreign companies are expected to participate over 1000.

There are 24 ministers among the top officials who declared that they will attend the fair. The delegations that will participate in the fair include deputy ministers, chief of staff, deputy chief of staff, air force commander, land forces commander, naval forces commander, gendarmerie general commander, coast guard commander, general director of security and senior officials at the level of undersecretary.

In the 15th International Defense Industry Fair, invitations of foreign delegations were made on the basis of reciprocity, by the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its affiliated organizations and the Defense Industry Presidency. While preparations for IDEF’21 continue, the number of delegations invited increased to 446. As of the beginning of April, 95 delegations declared that they will attend the fair, while these invitations started to be received much earlier than the fairs we passed. It is emphasized that this number will increase until the fair opening.

The Interviews Platform is prepared for the participants

As in 2019, this year, participant-participant, delegation-participant, participant-Turkish procurement authority, delegation-Turkish procurement authority, delegation-delegation meetings will be held in a planned manner. A special team is meticulously carried out in order to organize meetings and hold meetings with maximum efficiency during the fair.

IDEF’21 will also provide its participants with the “next generation hybrid fair” experience where digital applications are used effectively.

Digital platforms, originally developed by TÜYAP and created using the smart matching system and special algorithms, will contribute to the establishment of new collaborations by defense industry professionals.

At IDEF, which has received intense interest from exhibitors and visitors every year it is organized, all kinds of measures will be taken for an efficient and safe fair environment, and new types of coronavirus (Kovid-19) measures will be meticulously implemented.

TÜYAP Istanbul Fair and Congress Center, where IDEF’21 will be held, is the first and only exhibition center to have the Turkish Standards Institute COVID-19 Safe Service Certificate.
