China launches next-generation weather satellite


According to the news of the Xinhua agency, the satellite called “Fingyun 4B” was launched with the Long March-3B rocket from the Xingang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province of China.

After the launch, the satellite reportedly placed in its planned orbital position.

New generation satellite; It will be used in weather forecasting, analysis, environmental and disaster monitoring studies.

The satellite’s activities will be carried out by the China Meteorological Administration.

Fıngyun 4B will form a meteorological observation network with the Fıngyun 4A satellite launched in December 2016.
