According to the TEKNOFEST statement, the competition, which aims to increase the students’ interest in the field of aviation gas turbine engine technologies and to improve their skills, can be participated individually or as a team. In the contest, where applications are accepted until March 15, there is a total of 60 thousand TL monetary prize.
The turbojet engine to be designed must comply with the specified physical constraints and meet the geometric envelope, manufacturability, performance, structural and lifetime requirements. Consisting of a single stage compressor, a single stage turbine and a single shaft, it is among the features sought in the turbojet engine. In the competition, where the conceptual design of a turbojet engine producing 150 pounds of thrust is also aimed, the teams are expected to design a turbojet engine that can meet the specified design criteria and prepare a design report.
Material support over 7 million TL is provided
Each year’s competition categories of the previous year by more opened and the history of Turkey’s largest award-winning technology this year in 35 different competitions within competitions TEKNOFEST Technology Competition. TEKNOFEST, which turns dreams into reality with “NationalTechnology Initiative”, this year, unlike 2020; Mixed Herd is organizing Simulation, Communication Technologies, Fighting UAV, Artificial Intelligence, Tourism Technologies, High School Students Pole Research Projects, Agricultural Unmanned Land Vehicle, Digital Technologies in Industry Competitions for the first time. Aiming to increase the interest of young people in producing and developing national technology, a total of over 7 million TL material support is provided to the teams that pass the pre-selection stage this year in order to support the projects of thousands of young people working in these fields. Teams that compete in TEKNOFEST and qualify for the rankings will be awarded more than 5 million TL.
