Aksungur Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) with domestic and national resources, continues to carry out target detection, diagnosis and surveillance activities in the fight against fire.
According to the statement made by TAI, Aksungur UAV, developed by the company with domestic and national resources, has given the General Directorate of Forestry a breather in the fight against fire since 1 June, when it started to work.
Aksungur UAV, which has the capacity to perform uninterrupted multi-role intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and offensive missions with its high payload capacity, provides operation flexibility beyond the line of sight with its SATCOM payload. The system makes a significant contribution to fire fighting in target detection, identification and surveillance studies.
