200 companies hacked in the USA

According to the BBC’s report, cybersecurity firm Huntress Labs announced that about 200 US companies were hit by massive ransomware attacks. In the statement, it was reported that one of the applications running corporate servers, desktop computers and network devices may have been compromised in the attack. Kaseya stated that “few” companies were affected by the cyber attack, while Huntress Labs noted that the number of companies attacked was more than 200.

The US Cyber Security and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) also announced that it has taken action to investigate the attack.
